The Game at a Glance
What is Blind Descent?
Blind Descent is an open-world survival adventure set ten miles beneath Mars at the Hyperion Excavation site. Developed by Pokuch and published by META Publishing, the sci-fi game challenges solo explorers or teams of up to four players to locate a missing survey expedition across a living, bioluminescent alien ecosystem.
Survival runs require monitoring hunger, thirst, and alien infection while exploring hazardous caverns. Players craft modular gear, defend outposts against encroaching fungal overgrowth, and choose between using human technology to retain baseline biology or ingesting Martian spores to acquire symbiotic physical mutations.
